Intentional Harmony: Managing Work and Partner

Angela Wiley, Ph.D.

In the Intentional Harmony: Managing Work and Partner workshop, we will address issues that are important to dual-earner couples. We will consider research as well as give practical advice to help you make the most of your romantic relationship while working. We will review ways to build and strengthen intimacy as well as resolve conflicts, use problem-solving skills, and embrace a team approach to relationship challenges. We also include some research-based "danger signals" to give couples markers for when they might consider seeking outside guidance or information. This program is sponsored by the Faculty Staff Assistance Program and the Family Resiliency Center.

Cost: Free, but seating is limited and registration is required. Call: (217) 244-5312

Offered on Wednesday May 9, 2007 (Noon-1) and Thursday, May 17, 2007 ( 7 - 9 PM Expanded evening session)
