Illinois Summit on Early Childhood and Healthy Beginnings

The Illinois Summit on Early Childhood and Healthy Beginnings is hosted by the Family Resiliency Center and The Pampered Chef Programs at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The program will address the importance of healthy eating habits in child care, preschool and home settings and provide the latest evidence on economic benefits of early childhood interventions to the community at large. Speakers will challenge the audience to consider the implication of a "one-size-fits-all" approach to early childhood education. Participants will develop action steps to strengthen families and improve health and wellbeing of all of Illinois' young children.
